    Hello Cliff Ravenscraft and Fr. Roderick:
    I'm a listener to your podcast since its begginings and both of you have been a great inspiration for me. I was a little reluctant to accept the new changes to the podcast because I loved the old format, but after listening to these last podcasts I have to admit that this is a much better format.

    You asked us to share our weight loss goals, and so I decided to share mine. 6 weeks ago I started my weight loss journey. My starting weight was 316 lbs. I now weight 308 lbs. I've been sharing my progress in my blog at SQPN connect, and the community has been very supportive. My weight loss is not only necessary for my health, but also for my spiritual vocation. This past year I moved into the Augustinian community, and I'm processing my application for the pre-novitiate. My vocational director offered me a challenge: If I go down to 210 lbs. he will promote me as a candidate for the pre-novitiate. I expect to reach that goal in one year and I'm already looking forward to this journey which I'm really starting to enjoy.
